School Closings & Delays

There are multiple ways to check on closures and delays in the township the morning of school on a day that bad weather occurs.

All MSD Decatur Township families and employees should receive a phone call from our notification service the morning of any school closing or delay.

In addition, we will use the following list of radio and television stations to notify parents about school closings and delays:

Radio:  1070 AM - WIBC and 95.5 FM - WFMS

Television:  Channel 6, Channel 8, Channel 13, and Channel 59

Finally, you can go to the Facebook page, MSD Decatur Township, where the information will be posted.

*  If you do not receive a phone call, please contact your child's school and inform them of any updated contact information that needs to be changed.
